CONFIGURATION

The settings of the router must be changed from a browser in order to get the correct network. To do so, follow the steps below.

  • In the browser’s navigation bar, type the IP address of the router (Internet Protocol). The standard IP address is 192.168.1.1, but a company can assign a different IP address to a router. Additional information can be found in the manual.
  • When the page loads, it prompts you for the router’s password and username. ‘Administrator’ is the factory default for both. Fill in the blanks. Check the manual if it does not work.

TO PERFORM FACTORY RESET, FOLLOW THE STEPS GIVEN BELOW:

  2. Click the Reset button repeatedly with a paper clip.
  3. Wait 10-15 seconds after pressing the reset button.
  4. The router’s power adapter must be disconnected and reconnected.
  5. You will use the default username and password to link the computer after it has completely rebooted.
